About Us

Wanda Brunemeier started Mattes’ & More over 16 years ago with her daughter. Like a family run business, her employees are dedicated to this company and strive to ensure you, our customers, complete satisfaction with every order.

In 1994, Mattes and More started with hand cutters, moved to Jet Mats and now run with computerized Eclipse cutters. Sara, with over 11 years experience and our production manager, is always ready to answer your questions regarding color choices, mat board quality needed for your specific prints, shipping estimates and general inquiries. Lori, our custom framer, can help you with choosing of colors, types of glass, backers and more. For any price quotes, questions on your order or account, shipping options, or just samples needed, please ask for Mattie, our bookkeeper and general manager since 1999. You won't find a closer connection between employees. Every day is a different order and a different challenge, one we accomplish with pride and respect for each other and our work. With over 40 years combined experience in matting and framing, we pride ourselves on our personal customer service. If we don’t immediately know the answer to your question, we will not stop until we do!

Being an artist in several mediums, Wanda has proven her technique and talent in bringing her customer’s art to life. She believes in no minimum orders as she enjoys catering to the smaller, up and rising artists and crafters, as well as servicing the larger, established framers. Serving customers nationwide, we really believe that no job is Too Big or Too Small!

Starting as a small business, Mattes’ & More has grown tremendously over the years, mostly through word of mouth. Equipped with computerized matte cutters, we are able to cut one mat to thousands of mats each day. We would love to add YOU to our growing "family".

Wanda, now semi-retired, still plays a large role at Mattes & More, and has personally trained her staff to be able to help each customer with their individual needs. Each employee has the knowledge to help customers choose between the different grades of mat board, the different thicknesses, from specialty colors to custom openings, we will be able to answer your questions!

We remember and appreciate every customer we have. We are always willing to work for our customers; whether it be choosing colors for their art, helping them with ideas, suggesting sources to grow their business or shipping an order they need in a rush.
